Effective October 5, 2026. These terms apply to the optional First Choice Ambulance employee SMS program.
SMS Terms
Employees who opt in may receive automated shift reminders, schedule changes, new or updated run assignments, vehicle maintenance alerts, certification expiration reminders, and operational notices. No marketing messages are included. Message frequency varies based on your schedule, assignments, and responsibilities. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for applicable charges.
Voluntary enrollment
To enroll, complete the paper consent form, enter your mobile number, select the optional YES checkbox, and sign and date the form. Return it to management through the designated internal process. Neither consent option is preselected. Management verifies affirmative consent before enabling messages and retains signed forms or scans in restricted employee records.
Consent is not a condition of employment or employee application access. You may decline or withdraw consent and use established non-SMS communication methods. You remain responsible for reviewing schedules and receiving assignments through those alternatives. The program will begin only after registration and configuration are complete.
Stop messages or get help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact First Choice Ambulance at (740) 603-8385 or andrew@first-choice-ambulance.com. You may also ask your supervisor or station manager to withdraw consent or assist with the program.
If you want to enroll again after opting out, contact management to confirm the re-enrollment process and renew your consent. Notify management promptly if your number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer under your control.
Delivery and urgent communications
SMS delivery may be delayed or unavailable. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A delivered text does not establish that an employee has read or acknowledged an assignment. Continue to use established dispatch, radio, and telephone procedures for urgent communications. Do not rely on this program to request emergency help; call 911 for a medical emergency.
Privacy and appropriate use
Ordinary texts will not contain patient names or clinical details. Access run details through the secure employee application. Do not send patient information, passwords, or sensitive records by SMS. Read our Privacy Policy for information about collection, use, retention, and protection of employee SMS information.
Changes and contact
First Choice Ambulance may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. We will obtain new consent when needed for a changed messaging purpose. For questions, contact us using the phone number or email above. Do not send signed forms by ordinary email; ask management for the designated secure process.
